Teams in the DLF Indian Premier League are gearing up to tackle Harbhajan Singh the bowler but the feisty off-spinner today said he was all set to stun his rivals with some “explosive” batting in the Twenty20 event starting April 18 in South Africa.
“Every player becomes explosive in Twenty20 and I am no less. Watch out for my explosive batting,” answered Harbhajan when asked who were the most intimidating batsmen in the second edition of DLF IPL .
On whether he would be targeting any particular batsman during the high-profile event, the 28-year-old said instead of going after just one, he would focus on destroying the entire line-ups to ensure victory for his team Mumbai Indians.

The opening ceremony of the high-profile Indian Premier League’s second edition on April 10 would be bigger and more colourful than last year, its Chairman and Commissioner Lalit Modi said on Tuesday.
“The 2009 opening ceremony (to be held at the D Y Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai) would be spectacular and better than last year. It will be a 30 minute visual extravaganza,” Modi said while launching the new season of the T20 league rechristened as “DLF IPL” here.
The organisers have planned various cultural items like “Drums of India”, featuring the drummers from the five zones of the country, besides showcasing a top international roller skating duo, acrobats and fire dancers, among others.
The closing ceremony, on May 24, will also be held at the same venue, Modi declared.
